LifeStyle Software is a developer and publisher of innovative consumer PC software, based in the North West of England.

The company was formed in 2002 by John Willis who has a 30-year track record of success in software development. John has been the major shareholder, chief designer and driving force behind IT companies that have achieved UK market domination in the areas of public transport and the management of barristers’ chambers. It was his involvement with the demanding integrated diary and case management requirements of barristers that gave John the idea for LifeThemes. After becoming frustrated with the lack of flexible organisational software to cope with his growing digital photograph collection, he realised that a multi-user diary linked to a digital photo collection could form a “life record”, both for individuals and the family as a whole. This initial idea rapidly developed in scope to the full-scale life management and recording tool which LifeThemes has become.

The company's new product, School Life, launched at the BETT exhibition in January 2006, provides an intuitive and practical way of storing and accessing schools’ media files.
Events are recorded in a network of multi-user diaries and files of all sorts can be imported and linked to these events, also to people, to places, to the curriculum and to each other.
