Many different types of places can be included in LifeThemes:
your family home, your childrens schools, and the holday destinations
that you have visited over the years ...
Links can be made to and from all other areas
of LifeThemes. The people and pets living in your home, pictures
of your garden throughout the year and your antique vase collection
may all be linked to your family home. Any previous residences
can be documented in the same way including dates that you
lived there.
Pictures of the villages, cities and resorts that you have
visted can be linked to that place along with the people you
were there with, people you may have met whilst there, the
dates of the visit and maybe a recipe that you discovered
on the way or an anecdote you recorded in 'Stories'.
A main photo can be selected from the linked pictures to represent
each place.
Click on the links on the screenshot on the right or browse
through the list below to read more about the features of
'Places'. |

Linking people to places
Places can be associated with multiple
people enabling you to store records of all the members of a
family without having to repeat the address and telephone number
details. Similarly, you can associate business contacts with
a business address. You can easily go to the place record and
find all the people linked to it and the dates that they were
associated with that place! |

Links
Places can be linked to people, pictures, things, stories, food,
documents, diary events and tasks, i.e. any of the items held
in LifeThemes.
These links are automatically "two-way" in that once
you've linked a place to a person then the pet can be accessed
from their "person" record as well. |

Multiple Views You
can view your places in a variety of different ways, such as
a simple text list, an attractive picture card with basic contact
details or large address card - the latter includes a thumbnail
photo. Alternatively select the 'full' or 'window' views to
see larger pictures, the full address, notes relevent to the
place and even a slideshow of pictures of that place! |
