Collections

People and Places Linked
Multiple people can be associated with
the same LifeThemes 'Place' record enabling you, for example,
to store records of all the members of a family without having
to repeat the address and telephone number details. Similarly
for business contacts you can associate them with the business
address. LifeThemes automatic two-way linking system means that
you can then easily go to the place record and find all the
people linked to it! |
| |
The school
where Sally works is also linked to the children. See
Back to Work
|
| |
|
 |
Lots of Useful Links In
addition to the pictures and places links described above a
person can be linked to Pets, Things and Stories. Also, any
diary entries linked to a person can also be displayed on the
screen at the touch of a button, enabling you to answer questions
like “When did I last visit the dentist” in a flash!
|
| |
Stories about
Katie, written by her siblings,
are linked to her 'person' record. |
| |
|
 |
Different Views You
can view your “people” information in a variety
of different ways, such as a simple text list, an attractive
picture card with basic contact details or a small or large
address card - the latter includes a thumbnail photo. Alternatively
select the “full” or “window” views
to see larger pictures and extended contact and personal details
and even a slideshow of pictures
of that person! |
| |
Sally
drags and drops contacts from the pictures card view to create
a party invitations
list.
Dave prints out a list of contacts to take on holiday. See
Last-Minute Reminders.
Tara sees her friend's
details in the 'large' view. |

Birthday Reminders
If you record the day and
month of birth of any person, LifeThemes will automatically
enter the birthday in your diary each year, and LifeMonitor
can then be set to remind you to send a birthday card or to
buy a present a set number of days in advance. If you include
date of birth, LifeThemes also calculates the age of the person.
No more forgotten birthdays!
|
 |
Tara
makes a note of her friends' birthdays.
Katie's birthday is noted in the ALL diary. see The
Birth. |

Associations/Family
You can tell LifeThemes what
the associations are between “People”. The most
common association would be that of a family relationship
such as parent and child and the software is able to work
out all connected relationships from a few basic starting
points. |
