He uses LifeThemes to record all his training sessions. These are repeating entries which can be classed as 'routine', and switched off when you don't want them cluttering the diary.

He has been competing for 5-6 years and Dave has taken many photographs over this time. Ben's progress, successes and sometimes disappointments in swimming can be easily and visually charted. It's nice to be able to keep a record of some of the trophies that have to be returned!
